What a month costs you

40 paying members x $1 = $40 a month. From 21, every paying member counts.
At 21 paying members, you pay $21: once you're over 20, every paying member counts.
Your first 30 days are free, whatever your size. A paying member has a payment or a charge recorded that month. Frozen members, free trials and anyone with nothing charged don't count.

Your first 30 days are free
Create your gym, bring your members in and run your class nights before you pay anything. The free start ends on the 3rd of a month, at least 30 days after you start, so billing follows calendar months: between 30 and 61 free days.
The 48-hour switch, done with you
Send us your spreadsheet, an Excel file or a photo of your sign-in sheet, and we'll have your academy ready in 48 hours: members in, prices set, signup link ready. We prepare the import and you click Import, so nobody else logs into your account. Or we do it together on a 20-minute call.

What it costs you besides
Nothing from Lapelio. No setup fee, and we don't take a percentage of your members' payments.
If you take cards, Stripe charges its own card fees on your own Stripe account, under your contract with Stripe. Those are Stripe's, not ours, and they're the same with or without Lapelio.

Questions owners ask
What counts as a paying member?
A member with a payment or a charge recorded in that calendar month. Frozen members, free trials and members with nothing charged that month don't count.
Is it really free up to 20 paying members?
Yes, with every feature. A month with 20 paying members or fewer costs nothing. From 21, every paying member counts: at 21 paying members, you pay $21, and at 40, $40.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first 30 days are free, with every feature. The free start runs to the 3rd of a month, so it's between 30 and 61 days. After it, any month with 20 paying members or fewer is still free.
Is the founding price for life?
Yes. The 20 founding academies keep this price for life, even if the price changes later. It's open until November 30, 2026.
How does billing work?
Monthly, after your free start, counted on that month's paying members. No contract, no setup fee and no exit fee. Lapelio bills your gym separately: it never touches your members' payments or your Stripe account.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from the app, with no exit fee. Your data stays yours: export it any time, and if you close your account you have 30 days to export everything.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. We don't take a percentage of your members' payments. Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges its own card fees under your contract with Stripe. Lapelio adds nothing on top and never holds your money.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any time, free, from the app. If you close your account you have 30 days to export everything before it's erased.
Does Lapelio charge my members' cards automatically?
No. Lapelio doesn't run autopay. If you connect your own Stripe account, card payments made there show up in Lapelio by themselves, and anyone can pay what they owe by card through a pay link. Cash, checks, Venmo and Zelle you log in a few taps. If autopay on every membership is a must, Lapelio isn't the right tool yet.
